When that school bell rings I will answer it. The Princess and I both headed back to class last week. She is off to Sixth grade and I’m off to my own classroom of little ones. You can feel fall creeping in around the edges and my back to school decor always sets the tone beautifully. My favorite season!

Your marbles in the jars reminded me of the scene in “A Christmas Story” where the teacher opens a drawer in her desk and it is full of confiscated items. I bet marbles might have been confiscated once upon a time.

How fun to celebrate back to school. I can remember chalk boards and banners I used to put up for my boys. Something to get them in the mood, also they each had a supply bin in the kitchen cabinet for homework supplies. Such memories and Princess is so big…goodness, and my Grand is this week, taller than her mother…6th grade also. Hugs, Sandi
