Back To School

I love late summer. My mind starts to dream about fall. It is my favorite season. I can’t wait to wear sweaters, pick apples and eat and drink pumpkin spice everything. My favorite part of September is back to school. I’m busy buying school supplies, bigger uniforms and a new backpack for the Princess and remembering my own back to school experiences. It is tradition that I decorate for this magical time and it gives me an excuse to buy more antique school items!

My fall mantel…Antique school bells and school books!
Apples and real glass marbles.
I added some rulers, school bells and antique lunchbox and vintage blocks to my coffee table.
Who does not love Curious George, especially with an antique slate?
Our little Princess off to Third Grade…yes, Third Grade.

  1. Where do they get all those legs and elbows…Princess is getting so tall…just like my Grand, (they are the same age) and yes…starting 3rd grade is such a big deal. They are little persons now—and I’m so happy mine will have a sleepover next week, so I may get to post some photos—if she will let me. Such a sweet post–and they grow so fast. Sandi
