A Maine State of Mind Part 2

What can I say about Camden Maine…beside the fact it is now one of my all time favorite places to visit. Our Bed and Breakfast alone cinched that deal. We spent a delightful two days learning about lobster boats, shopping at the cutest little shops, hiking some kid friendly trails and just relaxing by the water. Unless you are a totally hard hearted person, you just can’t help falling in love.

The wonderful Captain Swift Inn. We loved every minute there.
Shopping at The Smiling Cow in downtown Camden They had everything Maine you could possibly need.
Learning everything about Lobsters.
The weather was perfect for just watching the water.
Silly Princess.

  1. We did a day trip to Camden last week. The Smiling Cow is my absolute favorite for Maine stuff. Bought postcards to send to the grands there and a bacon oriented coaster for favorite son (only son!). Miss the Library’s huge book sale but found 2 books on their small indoor tables. AND a new-to-me thrift store. So glad you enjoyed it! Woulda liked lunch at the deli, but my SO is newly gluten intolerant; it wouldn’t have been fair!

    1. There was a thrift shop across the street from our Bed and Breakfast. It looked so nice but was closed when we were there. I really enjoyed Camden. The laughing cow was wonderful.
