Spring Break 2021

Spring Break 2021 is done…although we are still wearing winter wear and the fireplace has been on most evenings. Just the thought of spring makes me happy. Memories of last spring don’t make me happy. It was a scary time for many people…me included. This spring speaks of possibility, growth and renewal. Our bulbs are starting to push upward, the streets are full of kids and bikes once again and everyone has lost that shell shock look about them. Hope seems to be on minds of everyone. I hope your 2021 spring seems less bleak than 2020. How are you planning to celebrate this beautiful season?

  1. Spring is such a wonderful thought this year! Hopefully we are all going forwards towards normality. A grey day here today but as soon as the sun comes out my heart swells with the beauty of it all. We’re still in lockdown in the UK but in only 3 weeks (not counting down of course) we’re able to meet up with loved ones again, only outside but it’s a start! Wow I’ve missed contact and hugs with my family. Keep well.

  2. I love the white rabbits, they brought back a special memory. I was a single parent with three children for ten years. One of my special treasures was a large white ceramic rabbit and three small ones that my mom had given me. “They were Us” Somewhere along the line I let them go in yard sale or something. Thanks for the special memory. I always love your pictures and tasteful, beautiful decorating style. You speak of hope and flowers pushing through the soil, enjoying the spring air. We are due to get snow again t his week, but thankful that all of this winter’s snow since December has finally melted away. Easter blessings, Michele

    1. We so need some hope, especially after the last year. There are so many treasures I have let go over the years. My Grandmother had some beauty depression glass pieces I wish I had claimed. So many memories.
