She’s too funny! I know this school year is different, but I feel your excitement as well. We have two in college and one a senior in high school. All distance learning. We start in place school tomorrow. I’m concerned but not fearful. Hopefully this year will continue to improve. My vintage school things always makes me smile

My kids have always said the old books ‘with hard covers’ are the best. Raised them on good literature while homeschooling, and now they are embarking on the journey (chosen, not pandemic induced) themselves. Using the same books I used!
