The last few weeks have been difficult, exhausting and downright challenging. Like most Moms, especially working from home moms, I thought I had this pandemic well under control with my list, timers, schedules and many many ZOOM calls. My Facebook updates were cheery and I hope my blog posts were uplifting. So many moving parts kept me busy and distracted…until it suddenly stopped and I was faced with a summer of empty schedules. Reality of the situation was not fun. It was painful and worrisome and made me realize things were not great as can be. I can’t be the only one. Moms are not good at the self care stuff, and as much as I love and adore my princess and hero, I needed to take some serious time away from all media and face the anxiety and fear I managed to push down for four months. It helped tremendously. Please don’t keep anxiety inside, life is so much better and lighter to find a way to release it. Anyway, 4th of July happened a long time ago, but enjoy some patriotic touches in my home. I wish everyone joy and peace.

I love your pictures, I have no flair for decorating, so I really appreciate them. And thank you for sharing the wisdom of not holding it all inside. i can’t imagine anyone, of any age, who has not suffered stress during this time. Take care of your self, a nd keep on keeping on.
