I have to admit…I haven’t put a lot of effort into my summer decor this year. Maybe because summer just seemed to sneak up on me this year or maybe the joy of having the Princess home 24/7 took a wee bit more time…but mostly because every piece of summer home decor was packed up in preparation for our home renovation. The funny thing is a little bit of summer always sneaks into the house…with a little help. The delights of summer are simple…
Beautiful Sunflowers…
…and seashells collected all over the world.
brightly colored sea glass and sweet lavender linens…
…and the bounty of tomatoes fresh from the backyard garden.
And playing so hard in the pool you just can’t stay awake for one more minute!
Thank you for the kind messages and words this week. Princess is home and on the mend…but not happy about her soft diet.

Love the picture of Sleeping Beauty; I can hear the “I’m not tired.” That bottle drying rack is awesome; I’d love to see it decked out for Christmas with red and green! Those tomatoes are gorgeous!

Your Summer decor is so lovely! And, little Princess sleeping is perfection. I miss Little Dedicated being that little. She’s definitely going to pass me up in the height department; and soon. Sweet photo of the sleeping girl!
And we are also in the midst of renovation this summer, so I”m having to be content with bouquets of summer daisies and the satisfaction of wiping up the sheetrock dust as needed!

I know what you mean about things being packed away, we had the same situation last year. But I’d say you still seemed to manage some lovely summer touches. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
