Oh, the simple beauty of Spring! Never over-embellished, never gaudy in its most glorious form and never tiresome to experience. My hope is that I have captured this “Spring Attitude” in my seasonal arrangement (and don’t tell anyone, but some of my flowers are not even real).
A neighbor’s gift of peonies look stunning in an antique silver pitcher.
A few elements on a mantel reflect the simple beauty of Spring…what is sweeter than roses in a Mason jar?
Blossoms in a…(well I’m not sure what it is, but it is old and rusty and found in an old barn) is a striking combination.
Unexpected flowers everywhere!
The simple joy of a front porch after a good rainstorm…

I can’t believe how big the little ‘Princess’ has grown. My peonies have barely budded. Gardening is horribly behind here in Chicago—goofy weather. Love, your florals!

I remember my childhood with such happy memories. I hope I am able to give my daughter the same simple experience. Sometimes it feels like a losing battle these days.

My neighbors have beautiful peonies…I have had less luck with them. I am so glad they are generous.

Yes, love flowers all over the house! The bag hanging from the chairs by the suitcases stole my heart! Thanks for sharing with SYC and the Spring Tea link party.

Beautiful flowers.
I didn’t bother to try to distinguish between your faux and real flowers. We do what we have to do. I finally went with faux in the bag I have hanging on my front door. I just couldn’t keep up with changing out the fresh flowers. And that gave me a whole new appreciation of faux flowers.

So happy that the weather that side of the world has finally started improving for you all. The leaves are all changing here in the South and it’s started getting really chilly too, so I’ll just be enjoying all your gorgeous, happy flowers instead

Beautiful flowers. I love peonies. Sadly, they are very hard to grow in Texas. Thanks for linking to Keep In Touch.

My neighbor has better luck than we do but it might take a few years for our soil to improve. Thank goodness she is generous.
