Another Summer Slipping away…

…but it has been an awesome few months. Time to slow down and enjoy the last of this carefree season! The question remains, how do you decorate when it is too late for Patriotic Splendor and way too early for pumpkins and apple? This is how late summer looks at my house…how about your home?

Sunflowers and touches of gold…

….and those last few beautiful days by the water.

The colors of the summer sea…

…And finding treasures by the shore.

The soft afternoon light through aged glass…

…and making a dream come true!

  1. Glad you are enjoying decorating your home…. this is an “in-between” time of the year… late summer, but not fall… not holidays…. but a nice time. 🙂

  2. I love all of your beach-y, summery decor accessories. I’m always sad when summer comes to an end, too. Because I live in the south, we’ll have hot/warm temperatures right on through October. So — we have a lot more summer weather here. Enjoy!

  3. It’s a little bit bitter sweet to see the seasons slip away, isn’t it? I love fall…well every season…but I don’t like how quickly time flies.

Your home is always so pretty and I love seeing your little girl. 🙂

  4. Very nicely decorated. I like to add seashells and pebbles from the beach. But I guess it really depends were you live. Princess looks very happy.
