Spring in the House

Sunlight stretches on tiptoe toes,
Through windows freshly wide,
It paints the walls with golden glow
And dances soft inside.

The blankets lighten, colors bloom—
Pastels, greens, and cream,
A vase of tulips on the shelf
Feels like a waking dream.

Goodbye to winter’s quiet hush,
Hello to open air,
With breezes slipping through the rooms
And brightness everywhere.

A pillow here, a candle there,
A change both fresh and small,
Yet somehow spring has tiptoed in
And warmed the heart of all.

Enjoying some well needed warmth on Amelia Island Florida.
