A House In Progress

It seems like an eternity, but there has been great progress in our renovation. With walls up now it exciting to just stand inside and dream…of a life without laundromats and hot plate meals!

Our little 1920 Foursquare in Annapolis is very charming in so many respects. What was not charming was the lack of pantry, laundry room and a modern kitchen layout. We jumped into this adventure right after Halloween and hopefully we will jump out mid spring. Enjoy the progress shots…and dream with me

The new back of our home.
Our kitchen extension
A view of the old connecting with the new kitchen
Our new mud room and laundry.
My walk in pantry!
My good natured Princess an our current state of our home. It is temporary…I keep telling myself this.

  1. It is a hard time for you and I know sometimes trying to think of what it will be isn’t easy. But a commend you for what your going through and have been there.

  2. I know it’s a pain, but renovation is so excellent! You’re right about the magic of standing there imagining how it will be – the potential is so exciting! Thanks for sharing the fun!

  3. It takes time, but the reward will be astounding! We are still searching out someone to work on a few things around our home. It will look great when completed, and you will forget the pains of the process soon after.
