Still Holly And Jolly Over here

My ToDo list says take down Christmas this weekend, and we have moved in that direction. However, I’m not so eager to put it all away yet. My Dining room is still decked out for the holidays even if the Christmas tree has shed its last needles in my home as of today.

I hope your holidays were grand. We spent ours with family. It was pretty magical for the Princess, but I feel like the magic may have reached the end. No matter, Christmas will remain special, stockings will still be hung with care, Santa will eat his plate of cookies and somehow we will find that perfect gift for everyone.

Happy New Year everyone! 2021 was still challenging for many of us, but 2022 is a chance to start again and maybe embrace some of the challenges…I’m going to try!

Stockings hung with care!
Table ready for some fun!
Always look for the joy.
Special dishes.
Goodbye tree. Thanks for all the beauty!
Hopefully a little magic will stay for a while.

  1. Love your decorations! I still have my Christmas decor up, too. I’m still resting up from having a house full of adult children and grandchildren. The holidays were exhausting but also lots of fun.

    1. Thank you! This coming weekend will be the time it all goes down. Honestly, I do love the simple, clean look of after Christmas decor, but holiday decor really has my heart.

  2. Hi Amy, I’m hoping this comment goes thru. I tried earlier in the week and couldn’t leave a comment. Your hutch is so amazing and loving all the wonderful cozy Christmas decor. I’m featuring this post on AAH Monday evening. Thanks so much for coming by and joining in.

    1. Hello! This comment came through perfectly. I am switching to a new iPad and things might have been lost lang the way. I am absolutely delighted to be featured! The hutch was a special purchase for me and in the new future will grace our renovated kitchen as my very own baking center!

  3. It’s so hard to say goodbye to the holidays, especially when you have children who are growing up way too fast! Thanks for sharing on Happiness is Homemade at LifeasaLEOWife.com. I’ve started a new link party to replace Traffic Jam Weekend called Crafty Creators. I would love to have you come share there as well! It’s open Thursdays thru Mondays.
