Hello everyone, I really missed actively blogging the last few weeks. This summer, unfortunately, has had some sad moments. We are enjoying the lovely weather and fresh summer produce but in early July we lost our dear Pop, my father and The Princess’ beloved Grandfather. It’s funny how a season can change in a minute. I did do some summer decor this weekend that gives me some joy and we are planning our summer trip to Maine next week. Staying busy seems to be the trick. Enjoy some touches around my house. I can’t wait to tell you all about Maine.

Yellow lemons look fresh on the dining room table.
Flowery couch pillows
Gorgeous sunflowers
Summer colors
One of my favorite pictures of The Princess with Pop. We miss him.

  1. I am sorry for the passing of your sweet Pop. That is an awesome photo of The Princess and him. I know how painful it is. I miss my sweet Daddy too and all of my beloveds in heaven. I am sending you love and many hugs. The pain never seems to go away, either. Your Pop looked like a happy man. I am hoping he sends you many signs of love and comfort: coins, scents, feathers, songs, numbers that keep reappearing, dreams. Bless you, with God’s love and comfort.

  2. I am so sorry for your and The Princess’s loss. A good father/grandfather is such a blessing in life. I still miss my father after 15 years and always will, but I remember well the stage you are at right now and I feel for you. Take good care of yourself.

  4. It’s so hard for a grandgirl to lose her favorite Pop. Condolences, and nothing can replace a father. Have a wonderful time on your trip, summer is so elusive, and will be gone soon.
