Hands down, my most favorite place to be in the summer is our front porch…maybe the beach as well, but that can’t happen everyday. Our porch is lovely, especially in the afternoon when it is in the cooler shade. It is the perfect place to watch the world go by with a cold drink in hand. The Princess loves to read on the porch and I love that she loves to read on the porch. I love to decorate the front porch (but that’s not news to anyone who knows me.) Dinner is absolutely wonderful served outside in the evening. Come join me, we can gather, chat and repeat!

The picture made my heart jump a bit…looks like the house I bought after my divorce…same colors. ..half the size! 🙂 I loved my porch. My sons & DIL built a huge deck on the back.

Hi we love our foursquare so much and I don’t ever want to live anywhere else. We are planning on some renovation later this summer because the kitchen is not great but our porch truly is something. I’m glad it brought happy memories to mind!
