A Touch Of Green

Turning the calendar to March always gives me hope that Spring is almost around the corner. It may be snowing this afternoon but, God willing, we should see the earth slowly come back to life…possibly…by the end of the month. Oh, I love the pretty shades of green that just pop up everywhere. I’m so excited for Spring, I decided to add some touches of green in my home…also St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner…two birds with one stone I guess. Let’s all wish for an early spring, despite the snow falling gently outside my window.

A pretty green stoneware pitcher on a green silk runner from Hong Kong.

I love this green French canning jar.

Another green runner under an antique primitive dough bowl.

A nod to St. Patrick with cozy sheep and green teacups.

The Princess is hoping for an early spring and early summer. She wants to swim outside on our next visit to Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay!

  1. Hello! We’ve also got a white wonderland here in Moscow at the moment. Hope spring won’t be too long in coming to us so we can have a green view from our window instead of white! Visiting from Esme’s Salon and pinned. 🙂

  2. Okay you had me at cozy sheep and green teacups! I grew up on the east coast and have lived in the midwest for the past 19 years so I guess you could say that I’m used to the change of seasons. I agree, hopefully spring is right around the corner. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
