The sky is overcast, the temperature is sweater appropriate and I gained an hour of sleep last night. I am content and happy to stay cozy and warm with my Hero and my Princess in our wonderful, although a bit drafty, old home. What is making me happy this afternoon?
The color orange in my dining room. My little wooden pumpkins make me smile
A pile of white pumpkins in an old red and white enamelware baking pan.
Mercury glass pumpkins atop a mantel with hints of the Thanksgiving to come
A bench covered with pillows that just begs one to curl up and watch the beauty of a Fall afternoon.
The deep gratefulness for another year spent on this beautiful earth! And not worrying about the number of candles on my birthday treat.

You have the most delightful assortment of pumpkins and display them beautifully. I always say that “I never met a pumpkin that I didn’t love!” and yours prove the veracity of my statement perfectly. A very lovely photo of a very lovely Mother and her Princess. Hope you enjoyed the Happiest of Birthdays! As someone wisely said…”it’s not about the years in your life, but the life in your years.”

I just moved and have not been able to unpack any of my fall decor, so this makes me happy just seeing it! I’m so glad you shared on Fresh Market Friday Linkup, and I can’t wait to read more:) Welcome!!

I understand the frustration of the pack/unpack situation. I am just feeling so blessed that we recently found our forever home after my husband’s retirement from the Navy. It is old and needs some help but we love it.
