The End of One Adventure…

…and the beginning of another.  My Hero has proudly served since the first day of Plebe Summer at the United States Naval Academy and, amazingly, his journey with the U.S. Navy bought him right back to where it started. Enjoy some special moments from his retirement ceremony…although the Princess really did steal the show.

  1. Love the pride in your posting!
Love the look in your eyes!
    And really love the princess!!
So happy to see my kids (all grown now) had the same kind of interest in such “grown up” things and you are the kind of parents that are OK with it.
    Blessings to you,
    Minnie

    1. The Princess enjoyed most of the ceremony on the floor! You don’t see too many retiring commanders with preschool age children so it did add a lighthearted touch to the event. We are overwhelmed with pride! I will miss the uniform however!
