You’re a grand old flag, You’re a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave
The land I love
The home of the free and the brave
‘Neath the red white and blue
Where there’s never a boast or brag
Should old acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eye on the grand old flag
Summer essentials…boots and umbrella for that unexpected shower…even when there is not a cloud to be seen!

Me too. Although the Princess learned “God Bless America” at camp and her version is adorable and stuck in my head.

Annapolis? Wow…..not too far from you! I’m near Baltimore. It’s so much fun to find other bloggers who aren’t too far away! Nice to meet you… and it’s great to have found your website:)

Not far at all! Originally we were staying until we finished the military orders but we fell in love with the town. My husband actually retires this week and was offered a contract job at the Naval Hospital on the Naval Academy. It is very exciting.

That’s so cool! I can see why you are staying… Annapolis is beautiful. I need to take a little day trip with the kids one of these summer days. Love the shops and cobblestone walkways…They would enjoy it! Good luck with your husband’s new job!

We like Baltimore as well! Unfortunately the only part we have seen recently is Johns Hopkins hospital complex 😕. We are right downtown if you ever stop by to visit!

The hospital? Oh no! Hope you are all well. Great hospital though, you are in good hands! Sounds good! I will let you know if we ever stop by for a visit into Annapolis. I would love to meet you:) Thanks so much. We are closer to Ellicott City….so if you ever are coming there to visit the historic area, let me know too:)

Our girl came to us with a cleft palate and lip and had all her surgeries at Hopkins. She has regular follow ups there. They have been amazing! I have a good friend from Ellicott city named Aeryn Moken!

WOW…seeing the pics of your daughter I would have never known. That is so cool they did such a good job! You have a friend there-I don’t recognize the name. If you ever are here to visit, the victorian tea or one of the great coffee shops down there, that would be fun to meet up. Bring your little one, and your friend and I would bring my girls:)

Her plastic surgeon is a genius in my opinion! She will need a few more surgeries and a ton of orthodontist visits but so far it has been amazing.
